Shri Harish Chandra - (President)
Senior civil servant, joined the Indian Administrative Service in the year 1974. Has been involved with many people's science movements for national reconstruction. Has held a number of important administrative positions at the state and Govt. of India as Principal advisor/ Secretry , Ministry of Power. He has been the president of the samiti since its inception. A highly dynamic leader who refuses to compromise on his values and ideals.

Dr Rakesh Chandra - (Vice-President)
Prof. of philosophy at the Lucknow University. Is a noted child rights and women's rights actvist. An eminent educationalist who has always been at the forefront of the National Reconstruction movement. A consultant to U.N.I.C.E.F on education and child labour. Is or has also been a consultant to the U.N.D.P, U.N.I.F.E.M, D.F.I.D, U.S.A.I.D, D.P.E.P and world bank. Author of the U.P state government policy on primary education.

Shri Sayed Yaver Hussain - (Secretary)
Commissioned in The Indian Army in 1963. Was entrusted with various important staff, regimental and instructional assignments. Retired in the year 1992. Presently engaged in educational administration. Has repeatedly taken arms against the evils that haunt our society and, through his steadfast dedication to this cause, inspired many others to do the same.
